About Us

I am Juan Carlos Rico Noguera, a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Anthropology at Michigan State University. My research topics of interest are the state, techno-politics, expertise, and collective memories.

I volunteer some of my free time to Embrace Dialogue (Rodeemos el Diálogo), an organization looking to build and support a culture of dialogue in Colombia. I like to ride my bicycle, dancing, and discovering music with the help of friends and algorithms. Like most of my colleagues, I also love reading.
